At Sonat, we take social responsibility seriously. We aim to contribute to green growth, transformation, and sustainability through our customer projects and internal operations. We work according to the principles underlying environmental certification(Miljøfyrtårn) in all our companies, and are committed to using our expertise to improve society.
Through our subsidiary, Sonat has in the last year focused on one of our biggest social challenges today; eating disorders. The project has been funded by the Dam Foundation, Sparebanken Vest, Tryg, Vestland County Council, and others.

History
Sonat Consulting AS was established in Bergen in 2012, and have experienced an increasing demand for our services and have grown accordingly. Today, we provide services in digitalisation and competence development, with a strong expertise in Java and .net development, VR, and AR.
In recent years, we have built a local expertise in artificial intelligence using machine learning, where we have projects in industries such as oil services, shipping, industry, finance, media, and healthcare. Sonat also offers open and internal courses in machine learning, project management, and organisational development to companies. We know that technology development is constantly changing, so we focus on competence development among our own employees.
