Sonat strengthens the board of directors by appointing Bente Sollid Storehaug as Chair
Bergen, Norway 12th of February 2024. The Sonat group is on an expansive journey of growth in the Norwegian IT consulting market. As part of this journey, Sonat is very pleased to announce that Bente Sollid Storehaug has been appointed Chair of the board of Sonat Topco AS. The board will further consist of Kjartan Storli, owner and key employee in Sonat, and Daniel Hallberg, investment responsible for VIA equity. With an extensive IT career, Bente Sollid Storehaug brings a wealth of experience with over a decade as CEO and a distinguished track record from key board positions in both private and public companies.
Bente Sollid Storehaug is the founder of Digital Hverdag, which was listed as Cell Network in Stockholm in 1999 and is now known as Bouvet ASA. Currently, she holds multiple board positions, including Chair of Placewise Group, B2B VR/3D company Ocean Visioneering and e-learning company Task Alliance. She is a member of the executive boards of Polaris Media, Europris, Motor Gruppen, Lumi Group, Insenti, Increo, Orgbrain and Boards Impact Forum, the Nordic chapter of the Climate Governance Initiative in collaboration with the World Economic Forum. In addition, she is a lecturer at BI Norwegian Business School where she teaches in the executive Master's program on Innovation, Digitization and Business Models.
As the newly appointed Chair, Bente Sollid Storehaug will play a pivotal role in guiding the Sonat group towards continued success and innovation in the ever-evolving IT landscape. Her strategic vision, leadership acumen, and extensive industry knowledge position her as an invaluable asset to the company.
